What is a Family Group Conference?
A Family Group Conference is a meeting of family and other people close to your family who come together in a neutral venue to talk about any problems you are having and to make a plan to help sort those problems out.
Who attends the Family Group Conference?
All members of your family and any friends you want to invite. The Family Group Conference coordinator will lead the meeting and the person who referred your family for a Family Group Conference will also be there for part of the meeting.
Does the child or young person attend the meeting?
The child or young person may attend for all or part of the meeting. They can have an Advocate to support them at the meeting, or the Advocate can attend on their behalf to share their wishes and feelings
Who arranges the meeting?
The meeting is arranged by a Family Group Conference coordinator from The Resolutions Partnership.
What kind of Family Group Conferences do you provide?
The Resolutions Partnership specialises in Family Group Conferences where a family is experiencing issues that they are not able to resolve
